This class of licence is most commonly used by school minibus drivers, community bus drivers, light couriers and applicants for the NSW Ambulance Service (Ambos please click here)
This course is conducted in one of our 14-seat Toyota Commuter minibuses, from experience we have found that the vast majority of clients are able to successfully complete the course in one day, however if additional time is required these additional hours are charged at $120 each. Courses are available seven days per week, in manual or automatic transmission, at no extra charge. The course is $850 when conducted at our Arndell Park location in the Western Suburbs of Sydney.
This class of licence will also allow clients to drive the more common Toyota Coaster (21-seater) and the Mitsubishi Rosa (24-seater). Please note that clients who are on their Green P - Plates can upgrade to this class of licence, (Red P - Plates cannot upgrade to any licence class).

Just like your course we like to make things as simple for you as possible, just follow these six easy steps and let us take care of your needs –
- Pass a Knowledge Test at your local Motor Registry. (practice for free here)
- While you are at the Motor Registry, pass an RMS Eyesight Test.
- (Still at the Motor Registry) - Purchase a CBA Logbook & Guidebook.

- Come along for our LR training Course.
- On successful completion of the course we issue you with a certificate - take your certificate to the RMS - pick up new licence.
Cost, duration & location
The Light Rigid (LR) course is normally conducted in one day at our Arndell Park (near Eastern Creek) training centre and the total cost is $850.00.
